Speaking to the concept of additive manufacturing, he remarks that a paradigm shift is in play e.g. objects could be built ready for assembly rather than having to remove pieces to connect (e.g. drilling holes for screws). Part of "Manufacturing Success: 3D Printing Standards" held by ACS Science & the Congress on Capitol Hill.
