CardBound is a feature-length documentary that follows a collector’s search to uncover the true origins of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. What begins as an investigation into the earliest Pokémon cards becomes a global journey through collecting history, rare discoveries, controversy, and the people who have shaped the hobby. Along the way, the investigation leads to the discovery of a previously unknown card that may be the first Pokémon card ever officially printed.
The documentary is directed and produced by Jacob Zanghi.
