I went gung-ho once I got to singletrack, leading the pack. Note that this was my first time here and first time riding a real trail with this shiny new long travel AM bike; a recipe for disaster, apparently.
My hand was okay; just a quarter sized piece of flesh missing from the padded part of my palm. My glove? Uhhh, magic?
I carried on to get 6 runs down the mtn in, carefully balancing pain (from gripping with my mangled hand) and fun. :D
